How to Set Up an M3U Playlist on iPhone (2026)

By Saykudan LTD · July 10, 2026

If you have an IPTV subscription, you need a good player to use it. This guide shows how to add an M3U playlist or Xtream Codes account on iPhone using IPTV Core, and start watching live TV, series and movies with a full programme guide.

Note: IPTV Core is a player — it doesn’t include any channels. You supply your own M3U URL or Xtream Codes login from your IPTV provider.

Method 1: Add an M3U playlist URL

  1. Install IPTV Core from the App Store.
  2. Open the app and tap Add Playlist.
  3. Choose M3U URL and paste the playlist link your provider gave you.
  4. Give it a name and tap Save.
  5. Wait for the channels and EPG to load, then open Live TV.

Method 2: Log in with Xtream Codes

  1. In IPTV Core, tap Add Playlist and choose Xtream Codes.
  2. Enter your server URL, username and password.
  3. Tap Save. The app loads your Live TV, Series and Movies categories automatically.

Using the EPG (programme guide)

Where your provider supplies EPG data, IPTV Core shows what’s on now and next for each channel, so you can browse the guide like a normal TV.

Watch on Apple TV and iPad too

IPTV Core works on iPhone, iPad and Apple TV, so the same playlist follows you across devices.
